VISA REQUIREMENTS AND GUIDE

Student visasConsular Hours: The Consular Division is open from 9:30am to 12:30pm and from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, except on Saturdays, Sundays and on Public Holidays when the Embassy is closed.
Note: Applications are received between 9:30am and 12:30pm only.
Visa Processing: At least three (3) working days are required for the processing of visas. Applicants are, therefore, required to deposit their passports, together with the completed visa application forms, with the supporting documents well ahead of the time of proposed date of travel, in order to avoid possible delays. A tourist visa is valid up to 30 days or more and can be extended upon application to the Consular Officer in Berne.
Vaccinations: Yellow Fever Vaccination: In accordance with international health regulations, all persons entering Ghana are adviced to have a valid certificate of Immunization against Yellow Fever.
Current Visa Fees are as follows:* ECOWAS countries (except Liberia) - Gratis
* Liberian Nationals - SFr. 80.00
* Nationals of all other countries - SFr. 80.00
* Multiple Entry Visas (SIX MONTHS) - SFr.150.00
* Multiple Visas (ONE YEAR) - SFr.180.00
